Lee Whitwell Dominates MLP Season One

Season One of Major League Pickleball (MLP) was a big success. The competition was fierce and the team approach gave us that juice we get from watching other individual pro sports team events. It’s not quite the Ryder Cup, however for an avid Pickleball fan, I was glued to Selkirk TV and CBS Sports for the 4 day event.

The women of Pickleball were the big winners.

My favorite aspect of Pickleball is the way women compete with men at all levels. Lee Whitwell and Anna Leigh Waters put it to the men in most matches. Don’t look now but the girls are hanging with the boys! What an awesome sport.
